Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t been updating much here lately. I’m hoping to post a little bit more regularly from now on.
So, last week I received Cienna Rose‘s new summer collection, which consist of five beautiful shades. If you didn’t know Cienna Rose is a UK based indie brand, and their lacquers are 12 free, vegan and cruelty free. On top of that they’re enriched with Vitamin E, Pro Vitamin B5 and Lemongrass oil, which gives the lacquers a subtle and pleasant Lemongrass scent.

Lets take a look at the swatches of the summer collection:
Marshmallow is a nude pink crelly that covers in three coats.
Latte break is a light brown polish with gold shimmer that covers in two coats.
Shopping spree is a barbie pink creme polish that covers in two coats.
Snob is a fiery red polish with gold shimmer that covers in two coats.
It’s not me, it’s you is a turquoise green polish light blue glitter and gold micro glitter that covers in two coats. In this picture I’m wearing top coat too.
I think I have found a new favorite nude pink in Marshmallow, it covers pretty well for being such a sheer shade and nude pink makes a great base for nail art. Of course it looks beautiful on it’s own too!
You can pick up the summer collection here for £40, or get the lacquers individually for £9 each.

Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been so quiet here on the blog! I’m just super busy with work right now and don’t have as much time for nails as I wish I had. Anyway, a few weeks ago I received a big parcel with a bunch of polishes from BeautyBigbang and today I’ll be showing you their flakie chameleon polishes. Hopefully I can show you the other polishes soon.
First out is ‘006’ that shifts from pink to green. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
Next is ‘007’ that shifts from blue to purple. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
Next up is ‘008’ that shifts from green to purple. The polish reminds me of the colors of a peacock! Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
Next is ‘009’ that shifts from pink to purple. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
The last polish is ‘010’ that shifts from yellow to green. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
I applied these polishes over “bare” nails, but you can also apply them over a black base for a more scattered look. I think I prefer them like this, because they glow so beautifully on their own!
The polishes are available in a set of five (you can find it here) or individually. You can use my code ‘HANNA’ for 10% off your order on www.beautybigbang.com.
Hi everyone! Today we’re gonna take a closer look at CND’s new spring collection called Chic Shock. The collection consists of four bright pastel shades that are inspired by the South Korean k-pop culture.
As you can see the bottles have gotten a makeover, I think this new design looks very luxurious and stylish!
The Vinylux polishes all have a built in base coat and there is a special Vinylux Weekly Top Coat to make the manicure last for 7 days. My swatches are painted on bare nails and finished with one coat of the Weekly Top Coat.
Candied is a light pink creme polish that covers in two coats.
Taffy is a light blue creme polish that covers in two coats.
Jellied is a light yellow creme polish that covers in two coats.
Gummi is a light lilac creme polish that covers in just one coat! (Though I’m wearing two in this picture)
I also did some nail art designs using these polishes.
Here I used all four shades plus a white special topper, Spot it White from Dance Legend, to create a mix between a smoosh and fluid nail art. I think they’re quite fun to make and every nail always turns out unique!
I’m glad to report that these polishes water marble, and quite well I should add. I started with a white base (CND Creme puff) to make the water marble pop and finished with a holographic top coat for some extra sparkle.
For my last design I used Gummi, Jellied and Candied to create this wave-y design. The design is actually inspired by a pedicure on the press info that I received with the polishes.
I really, really like this collection! The shades are perfect for spring and I’m really impressed with how pigmented they are for being such light shades.
Today I have swatches of stamping polishes from Nicole Diary. A while ago I showed you a gold stamping polish from them (you can find that post here), and this time I have tried four other shades.
First out I have their white stamping polish NS01. It is super easy to pick up and covers really well over black!
Next is their black stamping polish NS02. It’s very pigmented and it picks up perfectly from the plate!
Next up is their green stamping polish NS12. This is such a beautiful and bright green shade that covers well both over white and black!
The last polish I have is their pink stamping polish NS08. It’s a bright lovely shade that covers well over white, but is a little light over black.
I also used all four polishes for this nail art design. I think they work really well together and I am very pleased with how this mani turned out!
In the beginning of March Cienna Rose released five new shades. Along with the new release they also started offering EU wide shipping!

Let’s take a look at the swatches! Also how glad am I to finally be able to take photos in natural daylight again!? This winter have been so long and dark…
Pretty please is a purple creme polish that covers in two coats and dries super glossy (I’m not wearing top coat here). This looks like a perfect polish for this year’s Pantone color Ultra Violet.
Something blue is a blue polish with blue shimmer that covers in two to three coats.
Rainbow snow is a nude crelly with pink and blue glitter that covers in two coats. I didn’t have to fish to get the glitter on the brush like you have to with some similar polishes.
Big spender is a gold metallic polish that covers in two coats.
Black diamond is a a dark brown polish with red and gold micro-shimmer that covers in two coats.
I really, really like the polishes from this release, and I have a hard time deciding on a favorite. Purple is one of my favorite colors, so of course I love Pretty Please. But then we also have Rainbow snow and Something blue which both are gorgeous. Can I just say that they’re all my favorites! 😉
Hi there! In the end of last year I was sent some polishes from U.K. indie brand Wikkid Polish to try. Since it’s March now I am a very late with this post, and that’s a shame because these polishes are too pretty to not have been used. I was very busy in December making Christmas manis and in the beginning of January I had many planned weekends and little time for nails. Now I’ve finally had some time to catch up with some things that’s been waiting to be used, including these polishes. So let’s take a look at some swatches of these beauties!
Crushed Violet is a purple jelly polish with silver holographic flakes. I’m wearing two coats plus two coats of top coat.
Orion is a holo polish in a clear base that’s packed with blue and silver glitter. I’m wearing two coats plus two coats of top coat. Doesn’t this polish look just like space?
Shades of jade is a mint green linear holographic polish. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat.
Rust is an orange-y copper polish with red and gold shimmer. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat. This is a prefect shade for fall! I wan’t to stamp leaves over it!
Rhea (H) is a duochrome polish with scattered holo that shifts from green to gold. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat.
Rose garden is a holo polish in a clear base that’s packed with red and silver glitter and green flakies. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat.
Flake me is a flakie polish in a clear base that’s packed with green and pink flakies. I’m wearing two coats over a black base, plus top coat.
Cosmic dust is a holo polish in a clear base with silver holographic flakies.
My favorite polish out of these polishes are Crushes Violet, I’m just a sucker for purple (and holo) and this polish is stunning!
If you’re in the UK/EU you can buy these polishes on Wikkid Polish’s website (with free shipping), and if you’re in the US/international you can find them at Beautometry.
Hello everyone! Today I have swatches of a collection that is perfect for spring; the Macaroons collection from Shopin. The collection consists of six pretty pastel shades.
0340 is a light pink creme polish that covers in two coats.
0341 is a mint green creme polish that covers in two coats.
0342 is a pink creme polish that covers in two coats.
0343 is a light peach polish that covers in two coats.
0344 is a peach creme polish that covers in two coats.
0345 is a yellow creme polish that covers in two coats.
I also did some nail art using four of the polishes, 0341, 0342, 0344 and 0345. I haven’t done a water marble design in forever so I’m very happy to see that it turned out this good.
In Sweden you can find Sophin polishes at thepurebox.se.
