Hello everyone, long time, no see! Today I’ll be showing you CND’s new bridal collection called Yes I do. As with most bridal collection, this one consists of sheer white and pink toned polishes that are very wedding appropriate.
Bouquet is a sheer nude polish with white and pink undertones. Here I’m wearing three coats.
White wedding is a milky white polish. Here I’m wearing three coats.
Veiled is a nude pink polish. Here I’m wearing three coats.
Forever yours is a pink polish. Here I’m wearing three coats.
These types of shades are not really my go to types of shades, but for a wedding I think they’re perfect! I also think that the two nude pink polishes will make a great nude base for nail art. In fact I’ve already used Veiled for just that.
What do you think of this collection? Do you like sheer nude polishes?
Hey everyone! Today I’m going to show you another fall collection – Say it ain’t Soho from Essie. The collection is inspired by New York City, which you can tell from the names of the polishes. I haven’t been to New York City, but I really want to go. Until I visit at least my nails can get a taste of the big apple with this collection.
This is one of the best fall collections that I’ve seen from Essie. I love the darker muted shades and I think that they’re perfect for this time of year!
It takes a west village is a dusty pink creme polish that covers completely in one coat. In the picture I’m wearing two coats.
Stop, drop & shop is a mulberry red creme polish that covers completely in one coat. In the picture I’m wearing two coats.
Booties on Broadway is a navy blue creme polish that covers completely in one coat. In the picture I’m wearing two coats.
Fall for NYC is a mustard yellow creme polish that covers completely in one coat. In the picture I’m wearing two coats.
Say it ain’t Soho is a copper metallic polish with gold shimmer that that covers completely in one coat. In the picture I’m wearing two coats plus top coat.
Empire shade of mind is a grey metallic polish that covers completely in one coat. In the picture I’m wearing two coats plus top coat.
Check out the video below for live swatches!
I have to say that I’m really impressed with this collection! All six shades are pretty much one coaters. Sometimes we’re lucky to get one or two one coaters in a collection, but not a whole collection like this one – good job Essie!
My favorites from this collection are Fall for NYC and Say it ain’t Soho, both polishes are perfect for fall, and pretty unusual shades for Essie.
What do you think of this collection? Will you be getting any of the shades?
This year’s fall collection from OPI takes its inspiration from Peru. My favorite collections from OPI are their spring and fall collections because they’re always inspired by a place, (this year’s spring collection was inspired by Lisbon) which gives so much inspiration for nail art designs. The Peru collection consists of 12 creme polishes and at a first glance it may not look like a typical fall collection becasue there are many lighter and colorful shades. After swatching the collection I have changed my mind – the collection is colorful but the shades are muted not bright. And anyway who say you should only wear darker shades in the fall?
I usually don’t include OPI’s press pictures of the collection in my blog posts, but this time I had to! I love the cozy vibe they’re giving and they make me like the collection so much more!
I got the polishes in the Infinite Shine formula and this is the first time I’m trying a whole collection in this formula.
Infinite Shine is a 3-step system which will last up to 11 days of wear and the polishes dries super shiny! The formula of the Infinite Shine polishes is really good and they made the application super easy.
Somewhere over the rainbow mountains is a rosy nude creme polish that covers in two coats.
Machu Peach-u is a peachy nude creme polish that covers in two coats.
Lima tell you about this color! is a pink creme polish that covers in two coats.

What do you think of this collection? Do you have any favorite shades?
Today we’re going to take a look at Kinetics fall collection called Fragile, that is released today! After a long summer of bright polishes I’m really looking forward to wearing darker and muted shades on my nails.
Kinetics Fragile
So human is described as a milky almond polish and it covers in two coats.
Almost naked is described as a cappuccino creme polish and it covers in two coats.
Pretending pink is described as a creamy pink polish and it covers in two coats.
Looking strong is described as a deep dark red polish and it covers in two coats.
Berries on ice is described as a raspberry red polish and it covers in two coats.
Alluring Brown is described as a earthy cocoa brown polish and it covers in two coats.
Fragile is described as slate grey polish and it covers in two coats.
Kind of blue is described as a dark teal polish and it covers in two coats.
This is the first time I’m trying Kinetics polishes and I’m very impressed! They all cover really well in few coats and they have a really good rounded brush that makes the application super easy.
My favorites shades from this collection are Pretending pink, Berries on ice and Kind of blue. One thing I love about fall polishes is the contrast of the dark shades against my pale skin.
Today were taking a closer look at Nails Inc’s Bright ambition collection. The collection consists of four polishes, three neons and one white. The polishes arrived just in time for my summer vacation, and they are p e r f e c t for this beautiful weather we’re having.
My swatches are painted over one coat of base coat (no top coat), and I applied the neons over one coat of White out to make them pop!
White out is a white creme polish that covers in just one coat!
Not invited is a neon blue creme polish, here I’m wearing one coat over a white base.
Its 12 PM somewhere is a neon purple creme polish, here I’m wearing two coats over a white base.
Strictly bikini is a neon orange creme polish, here I’m wearing one coat over a white base.
Aaaah, now isn’t this a nice bright summery collage! Which polish is your favorite? I love them all and I’m especially impressed with White out since it’s the perfect white polish!
I also did some nail art with the neons from this collection, and it turned out so bright you might need sunglasses to look at it! To get the cells I used a special polish called Spot it from Dance Legend.
Recently Twinkled T released their latest stamping polish collection called Desert sunset.
When their polishes finally was able for purchase from an European distributor they had released 12 shades and I was in need of some new stamping polishes so I bought them all! I knew it was a bit of a risk buying that many at once without testing a few at first, but I had read great reviews. They were as good as I was hoping and I’ve loved Twinkled T’s stamping polishes since the first time I tried them!
With that said, I’m always excited when they release new shades! The new Desert sunset collection consist of four creme and two metallic polishes.
On my pictures I’ve swatches the polishes on their own and stamped over black and white. I used Twinkled T’s stainless steel stamperand UberChic Beauty’s Got chevron? 2 plate for the stamping.
Ghosted is a light grey creme polish that covers in one coat. As you can see it’s stamps really week both over black and white.
Coraline is a light coral creme polish that covers in one coat. It covers really well over both black and white, but over black it’s not as bright as it is over white or on its own.
Tickled is a pink creme polish that covers in one coat. It stamps well over both black and white.
Smokey is a dark grey creme polish that covers in one coat. It’s stamps really well over both black and white.
Dazed is a rose gold metallic polish that covers in one coat. It stamps well both over black and white, but over black it’s turns out more silver compared to it over white or on its own.
Liquid gold is a gold metallic polish that covers in one coat. It stamps very well both over black and white.
The polishes from the Desert sunset collection is just as good as their other stamping polishes (which is just what I expected!). All six polishes are beautiful but if I had to pick favorites I would chose Coraline and Tickled, they look just as good stamped as on their own!
Have you tried any of Twinkled T’s stamping polishes?
Today I’ll be sharing swatches of Nails Inc’s Holler-graphic collection. The collection consists of four gorgeous linear holographic polishes.
Unfortunately one of the polishes got damaged in transit. Luckily I was able to save most of the polish by pouring it into an empty nail polish bottle. If you’re wondering why the swatches look a little bit different than usual, that’s the reason. I couldn’t take a bottle picture with Get out of my space, but I didn’t want to exclude it from the swatches either.
Pictures borrowed from Nails Inc’s instagram page
On my swatches I’m wearing two coats of each shade plus top coat. They all covered really well in just one coat, but as usual I prefer applying two coats to get an even and smooth result.
Get out of my space is a gorgeous linear purple holographic polish. This is the polish that unfortunately didn’t make it here in one piece.
Molten my day is a raspberry pink linear holographic polish.
Cosmic cutie is a light pink linear holographic polish.
Cosmic queen is a turquoise linear holographic polish.
At a first glance I was sure that Get out of my space was going to be my favorite polish out of the four (and thats why I got extra sad to see it’s bottle broken), but after swatching them all I have a really hard time picking a favorite. They’re all gorgeous and they’re super easy to apply. If I had to pick one I’d probably chose Molten my day because it’s so bright and a perfect shade for summer!
Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t been updating much here lately. I’m hoping to post a little bit more regularly from now on.
So, last week I received Cienna Rose‘s new summer collection, which consist of five beautiful shades. If you didn’t know Cienna Rose is a UK based indie brand, and their lacquers are 12 free, vegan and cruelty free. On top of that they’re enriched with Vitamin E, Pro Vitamin B5 and Lemongrass oil, which gives the lacquers a subtle and pleasant Lemongrass scent.
Picture borrowed from Cienna Rose.
Lets take a look at the swatches of the summer collection:
Marshmallow is a nude pink crelly that covers in three coats.
Latte break is a light brown polish with gold shimmer that covers in two coats.
Shopping spree is a barbie pink creme polish that covers in two coats.
Snob is a fiery red polish with gold shimmer that covers in two coats.
It’s not me, it’s you is a turquoise green polish light blue glitter and gold micro glitter that covers in two coats. In this picture I’m wearing top coat too.
I think I have found a new favorite nude pink in Marshmallow, it covers pretty well for being such a sheer shade and nude pink makes a great base for nail art. Of course it looks beautiful on it’s own too!
You can pick up the summer collection here for £40, or get the lacquers individually for £9 each.
Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been so quiet here on the blog! I’m just super busy with work right now and don’t have as much time for nails as I wish I had. Anyway, a few weeks ago I received a big parcel with a bunch of polishes from BeautyBigbang and today I’ll be showing you their flakie chameleon polishes. Hopefully I can show you the other polishes soon.
First out is ‘006’ that shifts from pink to green. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
Next is ‘007’ that shifts from blue to purple. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
Next up is ‘008’ that shifts from green to purple. The polish reminds me of the colors of a peacock! Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
Next is ‘009’ that shifts from pink to purple. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
The last polish is ‘010’ that shifts from yellow to green. Here I’m wearing three coats plus top coat.
I applied these polishes over “bare” nails, but you can also apply them over a black base for a more scattered look. I think I prefer them like this, because they glow so beautifully on their own!
The polishes are available in a set of five (you can find it here) or individually. You can use my code ‘HANNA’ for 10% off your order on www.beautybigbang.com.
Hi everyone! Today we’re gonna take a closer look at CND’s new spring collection called Chic Shock. The collection consists of four bright pastel shades that are inspired by the South Korean k-pop culture.
As you can see the bottles have gotten a makeover, I think this new design looks very luxurious and stylish!
The Vinylux polishes all have a built in base coat and there is a special Vinylux Weekly Top Coat to make the manicure last for 7 days. My swatches are painted on bare nails and finished with one coat of the Weekly Top Coat.
Candied is a light pink creme polish that covers in two coats.
Taffy is a light blue creme polish that covers in two coats.
Jellied is a light yellow creme polish that covers in two coats.
Gummi is a light lilac creme polish that covers in just one coat! (Though I’m wearing two in this picture)
I also did some nail art designs using these polishes.
Here I used all four shades plus a white special topper, Spot it White from Dance Legend, to create a mix between a smoosh and fluid nail art. I think they’re quite fun to make and every nail always turns out unique!
I’m glad to report that these polishes water marble, and quite well I should add. I started with a white base (CND Creme puff) to make the water marble pop and finished with a holographic top coat for some extra sparkle.
For my last design I used Gummi, Jellied and Candied to create this wave-y design. The design is actually inspired by a pedicure on the press info that I received with the polishes.
I really, really like this collection! The shades are perfect for spring and I’m really impressed with how pigmented they are for being such light shades.
