As you probably know I love floral nail art so this month’s box is right up my alley. With that said, my first design had to be a floral one! I used stamping plates MXM025 and MXM026, stamping polishes Luna and Greenhouse (from this month’s box) together with Straight up black, Tulip julep and Maui gold. The sheer base is Halo from Cienna Rose.

For my second design using the February box I went for the butterfly and floral image on MXM026. The sheer pink base is OPI Bubble bath, and I stamped with Straight up black and filled in the images with two holographic polishes from Painted Polish; Haute Parisian nights and From the pier, with love. They turned out so sparkly and pretty!

I usually make two designs per box but since this month’s surprise item was an extra stamping plate I had to make a third design using that plate. For this dry brush/geometric design I used M119, MXM026, Luna, Greenhouse and Straight up black.

January’s Heartbreaker themed box is inspired by vintage tattoos.

This month’s box contains two vintage tattoo inspired stamping plates, stamping polishes Skin deep and Cherry bomb and cuticle tape (that are almost to pretty to use).

If you have followed me for a while you know I love floral nail art, so when I saw the roses on one of the plats I immediately knew what to create! For this design I used stamping plate MXM023, polishes Skin deep and Cherry bomb, all from the box. I also used Straight up black for the outlines and Hit the bottle I dream of greenie to fill in the leaves.

For my second design I wanted to do a tattoo inspired design. I used stamping plate MXM024 and polish Skin deep from this month’s box together with Straight up black and filled in the images with polishes from Swedish nail polish brand Depend Cosmetics new spring collection called Marbled.

This month’s box contains two stone textured stamping plates, stamping polishes Turquoise and Pewter plus a Rose quartz stone palette.thumbnail_u3-np-mxm021 to 022_l19-002

For my first design I used all the items in the box, and I went for a turquoise stone inspired design. I also used Maniology’s polishes Straight up black and Coconut and nail art foil Lustre.

The second design I did was inspired by metal and stone jewelry. I used stamping plate MXM021, stamping polishes Delirium for the grey marble and Straight up black for the outline. The gold stamping polish is Whats up nails Go for gild, white is OPI Alpine snow, and the base color is OPI You’ve got that Glas-glow.

Maniology Holly Jolly stamping starter kit

Get your nails ready for the festive season with Maniology’s Holly Jolly stamping starter kit. The kit includes two festive stamping plates, stamping polishes Confetti and Frosty and limited edition Holiday Monocle stamper & scraper.

I really like the products in this kit, the monocle stamper is my go-to stamper. It’s see-through, it’s short (which makes it perfect when coloring in images when reverse stamping), it’s squishy and always picks up images perfectly!

How cute are the animal ornaments on M078? I had such a hard time choosing which ones to use for my design. And M079 has everything you need for your New Year’s Eve mani!

August’s Mosaic themed box is inspired by Middle Eastern art and architecture. I love Moroccan/Arabesque patterned nails, so I was really excited to get this box.

For my first design I used both polishes, the nail foil, and one of the plates included in the box. I probably wouldn’t have chosen this color combination if these polishes had not been a part of the box – but I’m so loving it and it’s giving me fall vibes! I also used Coconut from Maniology as my base polish for this design.

For my second look I used the other stamping plate and colors that I would have typically used for tiled inspired nail art. I’m going to be honest, the finished design did not turn out like I had in mind, but I still like it! For this design I used Maui Gold, Ducky and Blue glue all from Maniology.

Since the August box is no longer available I though I’d give you a peek of September’s Hocus Pocus themed box. I hope I will be able to create some looks with the September box while it’s still available, but unfortunately international shipping is very unpredictable and takes some time… sometimes way longer than it should.

Aspen tree nails + video tutorial

Hi everyone! Autumn is slowly approaching (at least in Sweden) and the leaves on the trees have started to change color. Even though I prefer summer I’m kind of looking forward to the new season. It’s so beautiful when the leaves change color and start to fall from trees. One more thing I like about fall is the fall themed nail art! I love making leaf nail art designs.

Today I’m going to share with you my first leaf nail art for the season and I hope you like them as much as I do!

The base for this design is Essie Midnight sun and I stamped the threes using UberChic Beauty’s new Lovely leaves 3 stamping plate together with Glow upVibin’LitSauceySubtweet and No filter from Twinkled T. I finished off the design with my new favorite matte top coat from Glisten & Glow (called Matte top coat). Their Matte top coat instantly became a favorite because it dries very matte and it doesn’t dry streaky like some matte top coats tend to do.

I always have a hard time deciding between glossy or matte finish, so I had to take photos of the glossy version too! Which do you prefer, matte or glossy?

Check out the video tutorial for this design below!

Bundle Monster Around the world 2

Today I’m going to show you nail art designs that are inspired by different places of the world! I recently received Bundle Monster‘s Around the world 2 stamping plate collection and I really enjoyed creating these design with the plates.

I used black and white stamping polish from Bundle Monster to create these designs. They’re available as a duo, or to purchase individually. If you’re wondering about any of the other polishes I used, feel free to ask about them in the comments below.

I chose the rainy clouds for my design using this plate, because right now we could use some rain. I live in a very rainy city, but this summer has been so hot and we’ve barely had any rain at all, so let’s hope this design helps with that 😉

I think I changed my mind about ten times when I was going to decide what pattern to use on this plate. As you know I love florals, and this plate have a few to choose from. I’m very happy with the end result, but I think I need to revisit this plate soon again!

When I saw this plate I knew I wanted to use one of the aboriginal inspired patterns. First I thought about mixing the patterns and make each nail different, but in the end I decided to only use one of them.

Stamping plates and stamping polish used for these designs are available on www.bundlemonter.com.

If you had these plates what nail art design would you create, and did you have a favorite out of these five designs?

Twinkled T Desert sunset

Recently Twinkled T released their latest stamping polish collection called Desert sunset.

When their polishes finally was able for purchase from an European distributor they had released 12 shades and I was in need of some new stamping polishes so I bought them all! I knew it was a bit of a risk buying that many at once without testing a few at first, but I had read great reviews. They were as good as I was hoping and I’ve loved Twinkled T’s stamping polishes since the first time I tried them!

With that said, I’m always excited when they release new shades! The new Desert sunset collection consist of four creme and two metallic polishes.

20180722_155150489_iOS

On my pictures I’ve swatches the polishes on their own and stamped over black and white. I used Twinkled T’s stainless steel stamper and UberChic Beauty’s Got chevron? 2 plate for the stamping.

Ghosted is a light grey creme polish that covers in one coat. As you can see it’s stamps really week both over black and white.

20180722_152759874_iOS

Coraline is a light coral creme polish that covers in one coat. It covers really well over both black and white, but over black it’s not as bright as it is over white or on its own.

20180722_152946218_iOS

Tickled is a pink creme polish that covers in one coat. It stamps well over both black and white.

20180722_153207763_iOS

Smokey is a dark grey creme polish that covers in one coat. It’s stamps really well over both black and white.

20180722_153354845_iOS

Dazed is a rose gold metallic polish that covers in one coat. It stamps well both over black and white, but over black it’s turns out more silver compared to it over white or on its own.

20180722_153631894_iOS

Liquid gold is a gold metallic polish that covers in one coat. It stamps very well both over black and white.

20180722_154147020_iOS

The polishes from the Desert sunset collection is just as good as their other stamping polishes (which is just what I expected!). All six polishes are beautiful but if I had to pick favorites I would chose Coraline and Tickled, they look just as good stamped as on their own!

Have you tried any of Twinkled T’s stamping polishes?

BeautyBigbang Stamping polish

Hello guys! Today I will show you a bunch of stamping polishes* that I received from BeautyBigbang a few weeks ago.
I get a lot of questions about stamping and one thing that I have found that really helped me is switching to stamping polish! You can stamp with regular polish too, but not all polishes work, and they are definitely not as opaque as stamping polish. I also find that stamping polish is a lot easier to pick up from the plate. So, if you have trouble stamping, I suggest you invest in some stamping polish. And for $3,59 per bottle these stamping polishes are a pretty good deal!

img_2058

I used the same stamping plate for all the swatches, it’s also from BeautyBigbang and you can find it here. Now, let’s take a look at how these polishes look stamped over black and white.

White stamping polish 007, SKU: J6415TM-7A. I’m super impressed with how well it covers over black! No milky white polish here, as you can see it’s super opaque!

Blue stamping polish 001, SKU: J6415TM-1A. I love the way this frosty royal blue polish looks over the white base! Since the polish is so dark, it doesn’t show up that well over black.

20180203_182217131_iOS

Gold stamping polish 011, SKU: J6415TM-11A. This is the perfect gold shade, and I just love the way it looks over darker shades!

20180203_183547080_iOS

Silver stamping polish 008, SKU: J6415TM-8A. This polish is a little different from the others, it’s formula is much thicker and it smells a bit odd, but it still works great! I’ve actually noticed this in other silver stamping polishes too, so it must have something to do with the silver shade.

20180203_184302314_iOS

Grey stamping polish 009, SKU: J6415TM-9A. It covers really well over black for being such a light grey shade.

20180203_184625627_iOS

Purple stamping polish 012, SKU: J6415TM-12A. I’m also very impressed with how well this purple polish covers over black. It’s a super cute shade that I think will be very useful for spring manis.

20180203_184847305_iOS

20180203_185042933_iOS

Pink stamping polish 010, SKU: J6415TM-10A. It’s a lovely pink shade that I’m happy to add to my collection. It will be perfect for floral nail art!

I had no problem picking up any of the polishes from the stamping plate and I found them very easy to work with! BeautyBigbang have four more shades (yellow, red, green and brown) that I don’t have, but need to get. I really hope they will offer more shades in the future!
