Hi guys! Today I have some new products from ÜberChic Beauty to show you. Last Friday they released four new stamping plates, Holiday jingle & Collection 21. Holiday jingle is their third Christmas themed stamping plate and it has a lot of different layered stamping images! In fact all four plates has layered images, which is a fun and easy way to take your stamping to another dimension.
For this Winter wonderland design I used the Holiday jingle plate. I couldn’t decide which version of it I like the most, glossy or matte, so I give you both. I chose not to include any Christmas patterns for this mani since it’s only the beginning of November, and I think that’s a bit early for Christmas. But when December comes I think this will be my go-to plate for Christmas nails!
I made another winter design with the Holiday jingle plate, white snowflakes over a dark blue base. It’s a very simple design, but I just love this combination.
The DIY fox on Collection 21-01 plate is probably my favorite image from the collection. It is just so darn cute with it’s scarf and boots. I want to make this fox in every singe color combination possible. I think the polish that I paired it with is a pretty good match, don’t you agree?
I used the first image on Collection 21-02 plate to make some holo flowers and I really loved how they turned out. The collection plates from ÜberChic always have such pretty floral patterns. I also filled in the flowers to make them look more like sunflowers. I like this version too, but the first version is my favorite.
Collection 21-03 have these super cute hot air balloons images and I’m so happy with how this design turned out. I really like the mani as it is with just the clouds, and that it matches the polish bottle so well, so I had to take a picture of it before I added the balloons.
On my Instagram page I have posted tutorials for most of these designs, I’ll put the links to them here; Winter Wondeland, Fox, Holo flowers, Hot air balloons.
In the beginning of November Born Pretty Store turned 6 years and to celebrate they basically gave away products for free. Just by posting a picture about their anniversary on my Instagram I got a $10 gift card and this is what I got for it! A Christmas stamper (item id #36395), a Christmas stamping plate (item id #36245) and 10 scrapers (item id #36759) with super cute Christmas motives.
I’m so glad that I got these products just before Christmas, especially the stamping plate!
The stamper is not only cute, it’s super squishy and picks up the polish so easily from the plate. I like that the head of the stamper is dark, because if you use a white or light polish it makes it so easy to see the pattern. I usually use a clear stamper, which makes it so easy to see where you place the pattern, but I really like this stamper too. Imagine if this one was clear…😍
The stamping plate is very Christmas-y and has so many cute patterns. I’m not sure how many of them I’ll be able to use this Christmas, but luckily christmas comes every year. As I mentioned it was super easy to pick up the polish from the plate.
I immediately wanted to try the products and decided to stamp some snowflakes. Here is how they turned out.
Have you tried any products from Born Pretty store?
Hi everybody, I hope you had a lovely weekend and that you have a good start of the week!
Since yesterday was the first Sunday of advent and seeing that it is December soon I think it’s okay to start making holiday themed manis! And first out is a snowflake design. ❄️
The base for this mani is a gorgeous blue polish from OPI called Give me space. It is from last year’s holiday collection and it is actually one of my favorite polishes from last year! I used I drive a supernova from OPI, Stamping plate Festive 02 and Crystal clear stamper from MoYou London to create the snowflakes. To get a clean line for the negative space part I used Straight nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls.
I hope you’re excited for more holiday/winter manis, I know I am!
Yesterday I got home to a big package from Depend, they have just released a collection called Welcome to the world of nail art that contains a bunch of nail art things. It’s perfect if you’re a beginner or if you’re not so good at freehand nail art.
I bet you want to know what was inside this big box, so let’s take a look.
GLITTER BOMB! ✨ Long confetti glitter, hexagonal glitter, fine loose glitter and rhinestones in different shapes and colors. I think these are suitable for anyone, beginner or “pro”. Some glitter or rhinestone placement is always fun and can give any design an extra pop.
Stamping kit with two small plates, a stamper and a scraper and black and white stamping polish. Even more stamping polish in black, silver and white and a big stamping plate. I think it’s so fun that a Swedish company is making stamping plates and tools. I know that Depend has had the small stamping plates for a while but I have never tried them and I’m hoping we get to see more of the big stamping plates from them! Also, I have a confession to make, I’ve actually never stamped with a stamping polish (just regular polish) so I’m excited to see if it makes it easier!
Stickers and nail transfers (like decals I think) in different shapes and forms that are perfect for nail art beginners, or if you just don’t have that much time. Rock your body; a kit with metallic tattoos, skull stickers and nail piercings (😱). Striping tape and nail vinyls. You know I like to use vinyls so these ones I’m looking forward to try. Top coats x3 shiny, shimmer and matte. And last but not least, nail art brushes and tools. A fan brush, a striper brush, a detail brush and a dotting tool. The brushes are the ones I’m most excited to try from all of this. Especially the detail brush since I use a detail brush to make many (if not most) of my designs!
