Hello guys! Today I will be showing you ÜberChic Beauty‘s last release for 2017, Love and Marriage 4 and Collection 23.
Love & Marriage 4 is full of lovely patterns that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. The first pattern that I wanted to use is the first one on the plate. I made a pink smoosh base that I topped with some gold flakes before stamping the hearts. I would love this pattern as an negative space alternative too! Maybe something for an upcoming Love & Marriage plate?
My second design using the Love & Marriage 4 plate are these super cute love bunnies. As soon as I saw the bunny with the balloon I knew I had to use it! It reminds me of a game I had when I was a child called Match-a-balloon.
On the Collection 23-01 plate this floral image caught my eye. Actually I’m always drawn to the floral images on their plates, they’re just so gorgeous! I reverse stamped this design, but this image is also available as an negative space alternative. Since I’m in a make everything matte mood right now I give you both the matte and the glossy version of this design.
I saw this diagonal dotted pattern on the Collection 23-02 plate and thought that it would look great paired with a bright gradient and I’m very happy with the result. Did I mention I’m in to matte nails right now?
On the Collection 23-03 I found another beautiful floral image. I paired it with a sparkly gradient, and of I course I had to make it matte too.
On my Instagram page I have posted tutorials for the designs show in this post, and you can find them through these links; Smoosh hearts, Love bunnies, Pink flowers (I’ll update with the link once it’s posted), Diagonal gradient, Sparkly gradient.
Today I’ll be showing you designs created with one of ÜberChic Beauty‘s latest releases. In the end of November they released four new stamping plates, Got Chevron? (made in collaboration with instagrammer @gotnail) and Collection 22.
The first design I made with the Got chevron? plate is this dreamy pastel mani. I think it turned out very cute and it’s also giving me Easter vibes.
I did another design using the Got Chevron? plate and this time I went all in on purple! I love the different shades of purple together and the mix of matte and glossy.
To make this cute and girly mani I used the Collection 22-01 plate and some striping tape.
From the Collection 22-02 plate my favorite pattern is this layered image with dots and roses. The result is super cute and the best part is that thanks to the layered images it’s so quick and easy to make!
When I first looked at the Collection 22-03 plate I saw this wavy image which made me want to create this wavy beachy design. I know it’s totally the wrong season for it (since it’s winter and snowing in Sweden) but I wouldn’t mind spending some at a beach in warmer weather now.
On my Instagram page I have posted tutorials for some of the designs shown above, and you can find them through these links; Pastel chevrons, Purple chevrons, Stamping & striping tape, Roses & dots.
*if I remember, I’ll update this post with tutorials for all the designs once they’re edited and posted*

Hi guys! Today I have some new products from ÜberChic Beauty to show you. Last Friday they released four new stamping plates, Holiday jingle & Collection 21. Holiday jingle is their third Christmas themed stamping plate and it has a lot of different layered stamping images! In fact all four plates has layered images, which is a fun and easy way to take your stamping to another dimension.
For this Winter wonderland design I used the Holiday jingle plate. I couldn’t decide which version of it I like the most, glossy or matte, so I give you both. I chose not to include any Christmas patterns for this mani since it’s only the beginning of November, and I think that’s a bit early for Christmas. But when December comes I think this will be my go-to plate for Christmas nails!
I made another winter design with the Holiday jingle plate, white snowflakes over a dark blue base. It’s a very simple design, but I just love this combination.
The DIY fox on Collection 21-01 plate is probably my favorite image from the collection. It is just so darn cute with it’s scarf and boots. I want to make this fox in every singe color combination possible. I think the polish that I paired it with is a pretty good match, don’t you agree?
I used the first image on Collection 21-02 plate to make some holo flowers and I really loved how they turned out. The collection plates from ÜberChic always have such pretty floral patterns. I also filled in the flowers to make them look more like sunflowers. I like this version too, but the first version is my favorite.
Collection 21-03 have these super cute hot air balloons images and I’m so happy with how this design turned out. I really like the mani as it is with just the clouds, and that it matches the polish bottle so well, so I had to take a picture of it before I added the balloons.
On my Instagram page I have posted tutorials for most of these designs, I’ll put the links to them here; Winter Wondeland, Fox, Holo flowers, Hot air balloons.
Here are my favorite manis from July! I like them all so much, but I think I have to say the Aurora pigment is my absolute favorite!
Which one do you like the most?
When I was in London in the beginning of this month I picked up Models Own new Aquaproof collection. The collection consists of five bright neon shades and I’ve used four of them for this design.
I made this design for the last prompt of this month’s @clairestelle8challenge on Instagram, with the theme aztec/tribal print. I didn’t have a design planned wen I sat down to paint them. Sometimes unplanned manis turn out great, and sometimes they don’t… I’m really happy this design turned out to be one of the good ones. They’re just so bright and fun!
For this design I used Impassable yellow, Orange seal, Impervious pink and Airtight turquoise from Models Own. The stamping plate is Bundle Monster + ChitChat Nails BM-XL202 and the stamping polish is Midnight mischief from Painted Polish. To fill in the pattern I used Dance 24 detail brush from Whats up nails.
Of course I had to add a matte top coat, though I can’t decide which version I like the most. The glossy one is so bright, but the matte one shows the pattern so well. What version do you like the most?
Last week I got some new lovely products from Whats up nails to try! The package included flakies, magic shifting powders, glitter confetti, nail vinyls and water decals, and as you probably already know I’m a huge fan of their products.
Since I haven’t used any flakies before I decided to try them first. The flakies comes in a jar that contains 0.4 grams, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it actually is quite a lot! The jar is packed full of the flakies and I think they will last for years.
I applied the Mermaid flakies over two coats of Lady in black from OPI, and I applied them while the polish still was wet. The application was super easy, and I found that the finger was best if you don’t want that much coverage, and using a fan brush was best if you want a lot of flakies over the whole nail (like I have here). You don’t need to finish with a special top coat like when you use powders.
I think the flakies are so beautiful, they give such depth to the mani! I could not stop staring at my nails while wearing them. Depending on the light they shift from green to blue, in some lights they are just green, in others they’re just blue.
You can’t have mermaid nails without a little bit of mermaid scales patterns on top, can you? Though I didn’t want to cover up the beautiful flakies too much so I just stamped the pattern on two nails.
Hope you like these as much as I do!
Ooops I totally forgot to post my favorite designs from March here in the blog too, you may have already seen them on my Instagram page.
It looks like bright colors and gradient was my obsession this past month! ❤
My absolute favorite design from March is my freehanded Hufflepuff nails. Which one of these designs do you like the most?
