Here’s what I got: OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s Style icons, On the go kit and Cocktail party.

The Style icons consists of mini sized bottles of Apartment for TwoGot the Mean Reds, I Believe in Manicures and Rich & Brazilian.

The On the go kit consists of Nail Envy Bubble Bath, Avopolex High Intensity Hand & Nail Cream and Avoplex Cuticle Oil to Go.

The Cocktail party consists of six mini sized Avojuice’s in the scents; Holly red, Sparkling mimosa, Vanilla lavender, Ginger lily, Sweet lemon sage and Cran and berry.

I was really happy to get the Avojuice’s and get to try out the new scents, but mostly I was really happy that I got the On the go kit. I loooove both the Avoplex hand creme and cuticle oil, and use them on a daily basis so they will be used up pretty soon.

Birthday nails

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 22… or more like 27. Today is my birthday and of course I’ve made some birthday nails. I didn’t want to make a typical birthday mani, so I went for a more subtle design and ended up with negative space, dots and a bow. I think they turned out pretty cute and the bow reminds me of a gift.

OPI Nail Envy Bubble bath

How are you all? Winter has come to Sweden, so it’s really cold here. But on the plus side we have snow right now, so that brightens it all up a bit.

I thought it was time for an update on my nails since the Seche Vive disaster (read more about it here). On my main hand all nails but the ring finger are back to normal, but I think it’ll be okay soon. On the cindy on the other hand the nails are still not good, but they’re getting better though. I have tried to contact Seche in every possible way I could think of, but I’ve still not gotten any response since this summer. I think I’ll make a separate post about that later…

Unfortunately I got some really bad breaks on the nails, especially on the cindy, so I had to trim my nails a bit. My main hand still has some length as you’ll see, but my cindy is down to nubbins. The nails are so short that my fingers look like sausages, it’s not pretty.

After trimming and shaping my nails I thought they needed some love and care so I decided to paint them using Nail Envy Bubble bath. I love that nail strengtheners come in color now, though I wish the shades would be a bit more exciting and colorful. How about a hot pink or a classic red shade?

img_0649OPI Nail Envy – Bubble bath

I use the original Nail Envy regularly but not according to the instructions, who wants to go with boring non colored nails? Not me! I use it before I put my base coat on. But those days you just want go for Nail Envy the colored version is perfect!

Empties #1

A few of my products just happened to runt out at the same time, so I thought I’d share with you what I think about them. And if I will I purchase them again…

L’Occitane – Shea butter hand cream

I really liked this hand creme! It has a nice subtle smell and it moisturizes your hands without leaving them feeling greasy. This size (30 ml) is perfect for the handbag, or just to try the product like I did. I’m pretty sure I will purchase this hand cream again and I probably would’ve already done it, if I didn’t have so many new hand creams at home already. 🙈

OPI – Nail Envy

I always use one coat of Nail Envy before I use a base coat, and I think that works good for me. It keeps my nails strong and since I practically have two coats of base coat, that protects my nails from staining pretty well too. I had already purchased a new bottle before I ran out of this one.

OPI – Avoplex cuticle oil to go

This one I keep in my handbag and it’s the perfect size and design to use ‘on the go’ as the name applies. Avoplex is my favorite cuticle oil, I don’t know how many bottles I’ve used up by now, so of course I had already purchased a replacement for this one.

Essie – many many mani

This is a (quite) new favorite for me. I love the smell and how easily it sinks in to the skin, you can read more about it here. I even had to cut the tube in two to be able to get it all out! I haven’t found this hand creme anywhere in Sweden yet, so I’ll make sure to buy it next time I’m abroad (which will be in three weeks).

Have you tried any of these products?
