I have a confession to make, I have never seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s, so I have no idea what the film is about. However I do appreciate this year’s holiday collection from OPI, and maybe now I have to see the film (with matching nails of course).

I know why you’re here, so let’s just look at the swatches.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – I believe in manicures
I believe in manicures is a baby blue creme polish. On the first coat it is very streaky but with the right application technique you can get it opaque in just two coats.

One coat of Champagne for breakfast over I believe in manicures.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Champagne for breakfast
Champagne for breakfast is a silver holo glitter polish that is supposed to be a glitter topper, so it will need a lot of coats to be opaque on its own. Here I’m wearing three coats.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Black dress not optional
Black dress not optional is a black creme polish with super fine silver shimmer that covers in two coats.

One coat of Five-and-ten over Black dress not optional.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Apartment for two
Apartment for two is a bright fuchsia creme polish that covers in two coats. It’s not a unique shade in any way but the formula is amazing. If you don’t already own a polish in this color, this is the one to get.

One coat of Sunrise… bedtime! over Apartment for two.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Five-and-ten
Five-and-ten is a frosty silver polish with pink and silver glitter pieces. It covers in two coats.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Rich & Brazilian
Rich & Brazilian is a dark purple polish with shimmer that covers in two coats.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Meet my “decorator”
Meet my “decorator” is an orange toned red creme polish that covers in two easy coats. It’s not a unique shade, but the formula is amazing.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Got the mean reds
Got the mean reds is a classic red creme polish that we’ve seen a million times before. But it’s a red polish with an amazing formula that covers in two coats and OPI is really good at making these types of reds.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Fire escape rendezvous
Fire escape rendezvous is a red metallic polish with glitter pieces in different sizes and shapes. It covers in just one coat, but I used two coats to get a deeper color and to get more glitter on the nails.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a pale pink polish with fine gold shimmer. It covers in two coats which I was quite surprised to find out seeing it’s such a light color. The formula of this polish is a bit thick.

One coat of Sunrise… bedtime! over Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Sunrise… bedtime!
Sunrise… bedtime! is a pink holo glitter polish that is supposed to be a glitter topper. It is somewhat covering in two coats, which I’m wearing here.

OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Can’t read without my lipstick
Can’t read without my lipstick is a burgundy crelly polish that covers in two coats and it dries super shiny.

At the first glimpse of the pictures of this collection I didn’t feel like it looked like a holiday collection. But after getting the collection and having tried all polishes I have to say that I’ve changed my mind a bit. Sure it has a lot of light colors, but I think it works for the holidays anyway. And who says you can only wear dark colors during the winter season?
I think my favorite shades has to be Fire escape rendezvous and Sunrise… bedtime! just because I don’t have any polishes like that from before.
What do you think about this year’s holiday collection from OPI?
