Today I’ll be sharing swatches of Nails Inc’s Holler-graphic collection. The collection consists of four gorgeous linear holographic polishes.
Unfortunately one of the polishes got damaged in transit. Luckily I was able to save most of the polish by pouring it into an empty nail polish bottle. If you’re wondering why the swatches look a little bit different than usual, that’s the reason. I couldn’t take a bottle picture with Get out of my space, but I didn’t want to exclude it from the swatches either.
Pictures borrowed from Nails Inc’s instagram page
On my swatches I’m wearing two coats of each shade plus top coat. They all covered really well in just one coat, but as usual I prefer applying two coats to get an even and smooth result.
Get out of my space is a gorgeous linear purple holographic polish. This is the polish that unfortunately didn’t make it here in one piece.
Molten my day is a raspberry pink linear holographic polish.
Cosmic cutie is a light pink linear holographic polish.
Cosmic queen is a turquoise linear holographic polish.
At a first glance I was sure that Get out of my space was going to be my favorite polish out of the four (and thats why I got extra sad to see it’s bottle broken), but after swatching them all I have a really hard time picking a favorite. They’re all gorgeous and they’re super easy to apply. If I had to pick one I’d probably chose Molten my day because it’s so bright and a perfect shade for summer!
Which polish is your favorite?
Hi guys! Did you know that today is National nail polish day? Well, for me every day is nail polish day. But it’s still a fun occation, don’t you think?
Today I have some bright, sparkly and super glossy nails to share with you! I’m so happy with how they turned out so I’m actually gonna be a little sad when I have to remove them.
I started by painting my nails with Mega (X) from ILNP which is a silver holographic polish. Then I sponged on the gradient using the Color Paints from OPI (Landscape artist, Primarily yellow, Chromatic orange, Magenta muse and Purple perspective). Lastly I stamped a floral pattern over the gradient using stamping plate 9-03 from ÜberChic beauty and Midnight mischief from Painted Polish (which is THE best black stamping polish!).
Here is how the gradient looked before I added the stamping. It’s really pretty, but I like it so much more with the stamping on top. Which version do you like the most?
How are you celebrating national nail polish day? I’m going to celebrate by taking these off (😢) and paint some new nails!
This is the second time I’m participating in Karin’s green Wednesday, and today I chose to wear a polish from Lilypad Lacquer. Lilypad Lacquer is a brand that is new to me, I’ve known of them for many years but I haven’t tried any of their polishes until now.
To dance with a peacock is a dark green / teal linear holographic polish. The polish has a good formula and was really easy to apply. I’m wearing two coats plus topcoat.
I managed to wear the polish on a day when the sun was out, so I got some pictures of it in sunlight. Just look at that beautiful holo!
I think it’s safe to say that I’ve become obsessed with holo and indie nail polish (preferably a combination of the two). Today I’m showing you my first polish from indie brand Painted Polish, called Haute Parisian Night.
Haute Parisian Nights is a hot pink ultra holographic polish that covers in two super easy coats. It is a linear holo with silver holographic glitter, and I guess that’s what makes it an ultra holo! Anyway I freaking love this polish! It is seriously stunning, I could not stop staring at my nails while wearing it. In the sun you can really see that it is a linear holo, and when the nails are not in direct sunlight you really see the holographic glitters in it.
I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
I really, really didn’t want to remove it so I decided to use it as the base for nail art (not that it needs any nail art on top of it). To fit in with the month of February I chose to stamp a rose design using stamping plate BP-73 from Born Pretty Store and stamping polish White Knight from MoYou London.
I can’t wait to get my hands on some more ultra holos from Painted Polish!
Hi guys! Today I’m showing you my very first polish from Glam Polish. I bought it during Hypnotic Polish’s Black Friday sale.
Glam Polish – Luscious
Luscious is a gorgeous linear magenta holographic polish that has a great formula. It covers really good in one coat, but I used two coats to get an even and smooth finish. The brush is long and thin, but still really easy to control during the application, unlike many other long and thin brushes (like China Glaze).
I’m pretty sure that this will not be my last polish from Glam Polish!
While I wait for one of my nails to grow out (because I can’t file the other nails that short, and I want them all the same length) I’m showing some swatches that I have saved on my phone.
Today we’re taking a closer look at Madder from Cirque Colors. I used this polish not too long ago for one of my Christmas manis, which you can find here.
Cirque Colors – Madder
Madder is a red linear holo that covers in two coats and is easy to apply. It is stunning, as all the other polishes from Cirque that I’ve tried. I must say that I really, really like this brand.
Last week I got some polishes from Born Pretty store that I was sent to review, one holo and one creme polish. I have actually never tried any of their polishes before, I’ve only tried their stamping products previously.
Here are the products that I got; Dark Green BPR005 (item id #35982) and Heart of gold (item id #36892).
Born Pretty – Heart of gold
Heart of gold is a gold linear holographic nail polish that covers in 2 coats. It has a wide rounded brush that makes the application really easy. The holo is very visible and I would love to try some more of their holographic polishes!
Born Pretty – Dark green BPR005
Dark green BPR005 is a green creme polish that covers in just one coat and the formula is amazing! It has the same wide rounded brush as Heart of gold which makes it super easy to apply.

Ho ho ho holo there! Today is Monday and that means that Christmas week is here! I went christmas shopping after work today, so now I only have a one or two gifts left to get. How is your Christmas shopping going?
For day 19 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made some Christmas sweater inspired nails again, I just think they are so cute!
For this mani I used holo berries from piCture pOlish and Alpine snow from OPI together with stamping plate Celebration BPX-L008 from Born Pretty. The pink is actually supposed to be white, it just changed color when I added the top coat. But I think they turned out pretty cute anyway.
Don’t you just love this red holo!?
Happy Saturday everybody! Can you believe that it’s only one week left until Christmas eve!? That also means thats it’s only two weeks left of this year, crazy!
For day 17 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made a French manicure with a twist, it’s Santa inspired.
For this manicure I used Nail Envy Bubble bath and Alpine snow from OPI along with Madder from Cirque Colors. This design is really easy to make, all you need is a dotting tool.
Hope you like these nails!
After seeing Anne wear this polish the other day I felt like I hade to wear it too!
Cupcake Polish – Berry Good Looking
Berry good looking is a purple linear holographic polish that covers in two coats. It dries a bit dull so a glossy top coat is a must to show off the beautiful holo!
The first time I used it the formula was a bit thick and it dried quick, so I had to to work fast to get a smooth application. When I read about this polish on Annes blog she said that her polish was a bit runny, so I thought that maybe the formula of mu polish was wrong. So I used a few drops of thinner and the formula turned out so much better!
This is my first Cupcake Polish and it’s so pretty that I think it will be hard to beat!
