Hi guys! Did you know that today is National nail polish day? Well, for me every day is nail polish day. But it’s still a fun occation, don’t you think?
Today I have some bright, sparkly and super glossy nails to share with you! I’m so happy with how they turned out so I’m actually gonna be a little sad when I have to remove them.
I started by painting my nails with Mega (X) from ILNP which is a silver holographic polish. Then I sponged on the gradient using the Color Paints from OPI (Landscape artist, Primarily yellow, Chromatic orange, Magenta muse and Purple perspective). Lastly I stamped a floral pattern over the gradient using stamping plate 9-03 from ÜberChic beauty and Midnight mischief from Painted Polish (which is THE best black stamping polish!).
Here is how the gradient looked before I added the stamping. It’s really pretty, but I like it so much more with the stamping on top. Which version do you like the most?
How are you celebrating national nail polish day? I’m going to celebrate by taking these off (😢) and paint some new nails!
Ooops I totally forgot to post my favorite designs from March here in the blog too, you may have already seen them on my Instagram page.
It looks like bright colors and gradient was my obsession this past month! ❤
My absolute favorite design from March is my freehanded Hufflepuff nails. Which one of these designs do you like the most?
Hi everyone! So it’s Monday again, did you have a good weekend? My weekend was good and I had time for some swatching, so check back here later this week for pictures!
Today I have some blue gradient nails to show you, I made them for piCture pOlish’s second nail art challenge with the theme ‘gradient’. I actually made a gradient design for their last challenge too (you can find them here), but I’m not complaining, I like making gradients.
The polishes I used are salt water, superior and freya’s cats, all of them from piCture pOlish of course. I really like how the gradient turned out, I think it’s perfectly blended.
I got an ocean vibe from the gradient so I wanted to make some appropriate nail art over it. So I took out my Mermaid life stamping plate from ÜberChic beauty and stamped some sea shells using White knight from MoYou London. I really like this look too, but I wish the gradient would have been a little bit more visible underneath the stamping.
Hi everybody, I hope you had a good weekend. Today I’m sharing my first nail art design using polishes from the Fiji collection. It’s a bright and fun manicure that definitely gives me spring vibes.
The polishes I used for this mani are: Living on the bula-vard, No tan lines and Exotic birds do not tweet. I started by painting two coats of Exotic birds do not tweet, the I grabbed a makeup sponge to create the gradient with. I dabbed each nail a few times until I was happy with the result. After that I added a quick dry top coat to get a smooth and even more blended result.
The last step of the design was to add the tropical flowers. To create them I used stamping plate Tropical collection 13 and stamping polish White knight from MoYou London together with my clear stamper from Born Pretty store. After that I sealed in the design once again with the fast drying top coat HK Girl from Glisten&Glow.
And a little behind the scenes / work in progress picture.
I hope you like this design and that it gives you spring feelings!
