Bundle Monster Around the world 2

Today I’m going to show you nail art designs that are inspired by different places of the world! I recently received Bundle Monster‘s Around the world 2 stamping plate collection and I really enjoyed creating these design with the plates.

I used black and white stamping polish from Bundle Monster to create these designs. They’re available as a duo, or to purchase individually. If you’re wondering about any of the other polishes I used, feel free to ask about them in the comments below.

I chose the rainy clouds for my design using this plate, because right now we could use some rain. I live in a very rainy city, but this summer has been so hot and we’ve barely had any rain at all, so let’s hope this design helps with that ūüėČ

These pancake nails may look more American then Canadian, but everybody knows that American pancakes are nothing without the maple syrup!

I think I changed my mind about ten times when I was going to decide what pattern to use on this plate. As you know I love florals, and this plate have a few to choose from. I’m very happy with the end result, but I think I need to revisit this plate soon again!

Moroccan inspired nails have been one of my favorite designs for such a long time. It looks good in any color combination, but my favorite is dark fall shades combined with gold details.

When I saw this plate I knew I wanted to use one of the aboriginal inspired patterns. First I thought about mixing the patterns and make each nail different, but in the end I decided to only use one of them.

Stamping plates and stamping polish used for these designs are available on www.bundlemonter.com.

If you had these plates what nail art design would you create, and did you have a favorite out of these five designs?

Bundle Monster + Black Queen Nails Design

Recently Ana (@blackqueennailsdesign) released her own collaboration stamping plate with Bundle Monster. The plate is gorgeous, and as you may already know I love floral nail designs so this plate is just in my taste!

Let’s take a look at the designs I have created with this stamping plate so far.

For this design I made a purple to white gradient and on top of the gradient I reverse stamped these cute flowers. For the stamping I used Bundle Monsters black stamping polish Straight up black, and then I filled in the flowers with two holographic polishes.
I really loved wearing this design and I was a bit sad when it was time to remove it.

For my second design using this plate I wanted to incorporate one of the beautiful girls. I started with a neutral base and stamped the girl and red flowers over it.

I already think that this plate is going to be one of my go to plates for floral nail designs, as this plate has so many beautiful to choose from.

Stamping plate and stamping polish used for these designs are available on www.bundlemonter.com.

Bundle Monster Botanicals collection

Today we’re going to take a closer look at Bundle Monsters Botanicals collection. The collection consists of ten plates and so far I have used four of the plates to create three designs. I can’t wait for fall to arrive so I can use the leaf images on these plates to create gorgeous fall leaves designs.

For this bright hibiscus design I used Restless Dahlia as my base and stamped the hibiscus flowers using BM-S324 stamping plate and black stamping polish Straight up black, I filled in the flowers using Rose garden, Gobi you and Empire club.

For these succulent nails I used BM-S326, BM-S327 and black stamping polish Straight up black.

I would’ve loved to have this plate in the spring, because I know I would’ve made more than one tulip design then. But who says you can only enjoy tulips in the spring!?¬†I think they’re beautiful flowers and should be enjoyed all year. To create this design I used BM-S325 and black stamping polish¬†Straight up black.

July favorites

Here are my favorite manis from July! I like them all so much, but I think I have to say the Aurora pigment is my absolute favorite!

Which one do you like the most?

Whats up nails Aurora pigment

A few days ago I got a long awaited nail mail containing the new Aurora pigment from Whats up nails. Usually it takes about a week for my parcel to arrive when I order from them, but this time it took three weeks for it to arrive. The post must have messed up this time ūüė¶
Anyway, you all probably know by now that I love Whats up nails’ powders and this one is no exception. I actually think this one is my favorite so far!

I applied the powder over white nail polish (Alpine snow from OPI), and the result is just amazing!

I want to try this pigment over so many more colors, next time I think I’ll try it over light pink or blue… or purple.

IMG_4132

When I ordered this pigment I already had a design in mind, so I’ve been waiting some time to finally be able to make it! I knew I just had to pair it with unicorns, though I didn’t want to cover up the pigment too much, so I decided on a unicorn on just one nail.

Neon aztec

When I was in London in the beginning of this month I picked up Models Own new Aquaproof collection. The collection consists of five bright neon shades and I’ve used four of them for this design.

I made this design for the last prompt of this month’s¬†@clairestelle8challenge¬†on Instagram, with the theme aztec/tribal print. I didn’t have a design planned wen I sat down to paint them. Sometimes unplanned manis turn out great, and sometimes they don’t…¬†I’m really happy this design turned out to be one of the good ones. They’re just so bright and fun!

For this design I used Impassable yellow, Orange seal, Impervious pink and Airtight turquoise from Models Own. The stamping plate is Bundle Monster + ChitChat Nails BM-XL202 and the stamping polish is Midnight mischief from Painted Polish. To fill in the pattern I used Dance 24 detail brush from Whats up nails.

Of course I had to add a matte top coat, though I can’t decide which version I like the most. The glossy one is so bright, but the matte one shows the pattern so well. What version do you like the most?

Whats up nails Mermaid flakies

Last week I got some new lovely products from Whats up nails to try! The package included flakies, magic shifting powders, glitter confetti, nail vinyls and water decals, and as you probably already know I’m a huge fan of their products.

Since I haven’t used any flakies before I decided to try them first. The flakies comes in a jar that contains 0.4 grams, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it actually is quite a lot! The jar is packed full of the flakies and I think they will last for years.

IMG_8485

I applied the Mermaid flakies over two coats of Lady in black from OPI, and I applied them while the polish still was wet. The application was super easy, and I found that¬†the finger was best if you don’t want that much coverage, and using a fan brush was best if you want a lot of flakies over the whole nail (like I have here). You don’t need to finish with a special top coat like when you use powders.

IMG_8390

I think the flakies are so beautiful, they give such depth to the mani! I could not stop staring at my nails while wearing them. Depending on the light they shift from green to blue, in some lights they are just green, in others they’re just blue.

IMG_8356

You can’t have mermaid nails without a little bit of mermaid scales patterns on top, can you? Though I didn’t want to cover up the beautiful flakies too much so I just stamped the pattern on two nails.

Hope you like these as much as I do!
