Yesterday I had some fun playing around with polishes. I did a water marble which I haven’t done in forever, so it was about time! I wanted it to be colorful and fun so I went for my Cirque Colors Vice shades and I love how they turned out!
First I painted my nails with a white polish, I used Alpine snow from OPI, then I covered my skin around my nails with Simply peel from Bliss Kiss to get an easy clean up. For the water marble I used Plastik, Rehab, Electric Daisy and High Roller from Cirque Colors, and they turned out to be perfect for water marbling! To create the pattern I used the #7 Water marble tool from Pure Color/Whats up nails.
I have a tutorial for this mani which you can see here.
At first I thought about using holo polishes for my water marble, but instead I decided to put a holo top coat over the finished result. So here I used one coat of We Trippy from Cirque Colors and I really like the result.
If you thought I was finished here you were wrong. I’ve seen people stamp over their water marbles with really cool results, so I just had to give it a try. I used one of my new favorite stamping plates, Feeling shapely! 07 from Lina nail art supplies tighter with my favorite black stamping polish Midnight Mischief from Painted Polish. And I’m really digging this look too.
Hope you like my water marble, and I really hope that I’ll marble soon again because it was really fun!
Wow, we’re already a month in to the new year! How fast does time fly by, soon it’s December again. A new month means that I pick out my favorite manis from the past month. This time it was really hard for me to pick them, because I have done plenty of manis that I loved in January.
The absolute favorite has to be the tropical gradient though. I was so sad when I had to remove it.
Which mani is your favorite?
Happy holidays everyone!
Here are my last nails for 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator. A few days late I know, but I got sick (stomach flue) the night before Christmas eve, so I’m just happy that I managed to post them on instagram in time.
I thought the best way to end this Christmas series was to do it with gift wrapped nails. They are perhaps not so wearable, but pretty fun and cute!
For these nails I used Alpine snow, Love is in my cards, Don’t mess with OPI and Love.Angel.Music.Baby. from OPI and striping tape from eBay.
I really enjoyed making all these Christmas themed nails and I hope I’ll have the time for it next year as well!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas filled with love and joy.
Hi and happy early Christmas! Tomorrow is Christmas eve and that’s the day we celebrate Christmas in Sweden. I think it’s a bit odd that we celebrate on different days depending on which country we live in. But as my parents said to me when I was little, santa can’t come to everybody on just one day, he needs two!
For day 23 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’m showing you these sequin bow nails.
Today I’m matching my nails with a top that was my inspiration. I got the top from H&M last year and it’s got a big bow made of sequins on the front.
For these nails I used Alpine snow and Minnie style from OPI and some black acrylic paint to make the outline of the bow.
Hello there, or good night (since it’s 11pm in Sweden right now). Today was my last day at work this year and it’s gonna be so nice to have a little vacation!
For day 22 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’m showing you these textured snowflake nails from last winter.
Here I used Alpine snow and Kiss me at midnight from OPI and Snowflake stencils from Snail vinyls. I have to admit that after these photos were taken I instantly added top coat. I like the look of textured nails, but I hate the feel of textured nails. They stick to my tights (I almost always wear dresses) and clothes and I don’t like that. How do you feel about textured nails?
I think I mentioned a couple of days ago that one of my nails broke and is really really short now. I had to trim the other nails as well, but it looks really weird with the one super short nail. I thought that I could just take photos of Cindy instead, but it turns out Cindy can’t pose at all, she just looks like a claw. So for these last few days until Christmas I decided to share some manis that I made last Christmas.
For this mani I used Alpine snow, What’s your point-settia?, Christmas gone plaid and You don’t know Jaques! from OPI together with Straight vinyls and Gingerbread man stencils form Snail vinyls.
Ho ho ho holo there! Today is Monday and that means that Christmas week is here! I went christmas shopping after work today, so now I only have a one or two gifts left to get. How is your Christmas shopping going?
For day 19 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made some Christmas sweater inspired nails again, I just think they are so cute!
For this mani I used holo berries from piCture pOlish and Alpine snow from OPI together with stamping plate Celebration BPX-L008 from Born Pretty. The pink is actually supposed to be white, it just changed color when I added the top coat. But I think they turned out pretty cute anyway.
Don’t you just love this red holo!?
Happy Saturday everybody! Can you believe that it’s only one week left until Christmas eve!? That also means thats it’s only two weeks left of this year, crazy!
For day 17 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made a French manicure with a twist, it’s Santa inspired.
For this manicure I used Nail Envy Bubble bath and Alpine snow from OPI along with Madder from Cirque Colors. This design is really easy to make, all you need is a dotting tool.
Hope you like these nails!
Since today is Fernanda’s birthday, and I know that she loves penguins, so that’s what I made for day 15 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator.
For this mani I used winter from piCture pOlish, Alpine snow from OPI and stamping plates Enchanted 06 and 16 from MoYou London.
Happy birthday Fernanda!
Today is day 14 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator and that means that it’s been two weeks of Christmas manis and that it’s only 10 days left until Christmas! Have you started buying Christmas gifts yet? I have bough a few, but I still have some left to get.
Today I’ve made candy cane nails and they are look so shiny and tasty, I almost want to eat them.
The base is my favorite white polish called Alpine snow and I paired it with Let your love shine from last years holiday collection from OPI. The candy canes are made with Candy cane stencils and Gift wrap stencils from Snail Vinyls.
