December 11 | Holly garland

For day 11 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I made a holly garland french manicure. I made these last year too, and they are originally inspired by Nails by Cambria.

Fore these nails I used a bunch of polishes from OPI; Nail Envy Bubble Bath, Alpine snow, Don’t mess with OPI, Stay off the lawn!! and Got the mean reds.

December 10 | Ugly Christmas sweater

For day 10 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I made some ugly Christmas sweater nails (I think they’re cute rather than ugly).

img_2754

The base is my favorite white polish Alpine snow by OPI. I spammed the pattern using stamping plate B003 Sweater weather from What’s up nails, glitch and o’hara from piCture pOlish.

Have a nice weekend!

December 9 | Golden snowflakes

I know this is a little late, but I was out last night with some friends so I didn’t have time to post this yesterday.

For day nine of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I made some fancy golden snowflakes.

img_2649

For this mani I used Satin Sister and Getting Groovy, from Essie’s holiday collection called Getting Groovy. The snowflakes are made with stamping plate Enchanted 16 from MoYou London.

December 7 | Christmas sweater

What is Christmas without an ugly Christmas sweater? The last couple of years it has exploded, hasn’t it? I actually got myself my fist christmas sweater a few weeks ago and it’s a really cute one! How do you feel about these sweaters, yay or nay?

Well, the patterns we see on those sweaters make great nail art, so thats what I’m wearing on my nails today.

img_2505

The red polish I’m using here is called Cinnamon sweet and it is from OPI’s 2014 Gwen Stefani holiday collection. The white polish is as always Alpine snow. To create the sweater pattern I used Christmas sweater stencils from What’s up nails. The stencils are from last year but you can find some that are similar here.

I felt like the nails needed to be mattified, so I used Matte top coat from OPI and here is the finished result.

Which version do you prefer, matte or glossy? I like the matte version the most!

December 6 | Happy holodays

It’s day six of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator and I hope you’re not tired of the holiday manis yet, because you’ll be seeing a lot more the next few weeks.

img_2475

The base for this festive mani is Encore Margot from A-England. For the details I used Shh… It’s top secret!, Got the mean reds, Stay off the lawn!, Squeaker of the house and Alpine snow from OPI together with Reindeer stencils, Christmas stocking stencils, Christmas tree stencils and Gingerbread man stencils from Snail Vinyls.

December 5 | Half moon snowflakes

Today is day five of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator and for today I’ve made some simple and elegant half moon snowflake nails.

img_2351

The base for this mani is the beautiful blue scattered holo Freya’s cats from piCture pOlish. I used it together with bright white (also from pp) and Jolly snowflake stencils from What’s up nails.

Hope you like these winter-y nails and check back for more nail art tomorrow!

December 4 | Stars

For the forth day of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made stars using polishes from Depend’s new holiday collection Season Sparkle. There are so many pretty polishes in that collection and I’m sure I’ll use them for more holiday nail art.

img_2264

The black polish is called Bedtime stories and the silver is called Holiday spirit. The stars are made with Stars stencils from What’s up nails.

December 3 | Holly

Last Christmas I spent many hours looking for a green glitter polish to use for Christmas nail art, sadly I didn’t find any good. I eventually found Running in circles from China Glaze but didn’t get it until January this year, so I haven’t used it for any holiday manis (yet). This Christmas I have a few to choose from but I think that the green I chose for this mani is the most perfect one (and I’m pretty sure you’ll see more of it this Christmas).

img_1967

The perfect Christmas green is called hercyna, and I used it together with o’hara and bright white, all from piCture pOlish, and Holly nail stencils from Snail Vinyls.

When I was opening my X-mas calendar from Essie I realized that the nails matched perfectly, and it was not intentional.

December 2 | Christmas ornaments

How are you today? I’m feeling really nauseous, so I’m staying home from work. Hope I won’t get sick.

For today’s 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made Christmas ornaments.

img_1674

The base for this mani is Pinot Noir from Il était un vernis, the ornaments are made with My favorite ornament from OPI and Ornament stencils from What’s up nails.

This is the first time I’m trying a polish from Il était un vernis, I got a few during Black Friday, and so far I’m impressed. I got some really pretty shades, so I’m sure I’ll like them all!

Come back tomorrow for more Christmas nail art!

December 1 | Tiny gingerbread men

December is here and so is 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator! I will bring you new nail art everyday until Christmas Eve.

My first holiday mani is one with tiny gingerbread men.

img_1604

The base for this design is Nut’n better from Cupcake polish. I stamped the gingerbread men using Alpine snow from OPI, Stamping plate Princess 16 and Crystal clear stamper from MoYou London.

img_1605

I’m a bit sad that they don’t show up as good as I had hoped, but the result turned out pretty cute anyway. Maybe I should have used a brown creme polish as the base for this design instead of a holo. But Nut’n better reminds me of gingerbread so that’s why I chose this shade.

Come back for more holiday nail art tomorrow!
