Today was the reveal day for piCture pOlish’s jeans swatch Instagram challenge and somehow I had forgotten about this. So this was a last minute entry from me and luckily the sun was out this afternoon so I managed to take a photo that I’m quite happy with! Doesn’t muse just look amazing in the sun!?
I wear jeans like once every other month or so, and when I wear jeans it’s always this pair from Nudie that I go for (why do I even have more than one pair of jeans??).
Muse is an indigo blue polish that reminds me of the shade my jeans used to have when they were new. One of my favorite band’s also happens to be called Muse, so I felt that this shade was very fitting for this challenge.
Hi everyone! So it’s Monday again, did you have a good weekend? My weekend was good and I had time for some swatching, so check back here later this week for pictures!
Today I have some blue gradient nails to show you, I made them for piCture pOlish’s second nail art challenge with the theme ‘gradient’. I actually made a gradient design for their last challenge too (you can find them here), but I’m not complaining, I like making gradients.
The polishes I used are salt water, superior and freya’s cats, all of them from piCture pOlish of course. I really like how the gradient turned out, I think it’s perfectly blended.
I got an ocean vibe from the gradient so I wanted to make some appropriate nail art over it. So I took out my Mermaid life stamping plate from ÜberChic beauty and stamped some sea shells using White knight from MoYou London. I really like this look too, but I wish the gradient would have been a little bit more visible underneath the stamping.
Hi everybody and happy Valentine’s day to you all!
Here are some nail designs that I’ve made this year that fits the theme for today.
For details and information about what products I’ve used for these designs make sure to check (and follow) my instagram page.
Thank you for all the love and support, it means the world to me! ❤️️
Hi there! The nails I’m showing you today I made for piCture pOlish’s first nail art challenge of the year. This challenge had no specific theme, but the rules were to use one to five pp’s only (except black and white) and that the polish bottles are in the photo.
I had a few ideas for the challenge and I think this design was my best one. And from the response on my instagram post many of you seem to like it too!
As you can see from the picture above I used spring, orchid and allure from piCture pOlish to create the gradient. I started with painting two coats of spring on all fingers and after letting it dry for a few minutes I painted all colors on a makeup sponge and dabbed it on the nails. I think I had to sponge each nails four times to get the desired effect. After letting it dry I added one coat of Gel setter from Essie to smooth out the gradient and make the colors blend even more. The last step was to make the leopard print, which I used black polish and a detail brush to create, and of course I finished with another coat of top coat.
And here are some pictures of the gradient only. I’m so pleased with how it turned out, the colors blended in to each other so well! I think this has to be the best gradient I’ve made.
Hope you like this design and thanks for reading!
In november last year (how crazy is it to say that, I’m so not used to it being 2017 yet) I made some nails for a giveaway and I got the prize just before Christmas. If you wanna read more about the giveaway and see the nails you can find them here.
So here’s what I got; dotting tools, a detail brush, a striper brush, water marble tool, coco potion and liquid palisade. I’m really excited for all of this, but especially excited to try the liquid palisade. I hope it’s as good as they say!
Hi guys! I’m so excited to show you the new polishes from piCture pOlish today!
These polishes are perfect for the holodays! I’ve swatched the polishes over one coat of base coat and I’m not wearing an top coat. Let’s take a look at the swatches, shall we?
piCture pOlish – holo night
holo night is a black scattered holographic polish with multicolored flakes that covers in two coats. Doesn’t this polish look like space or a starry night?
piCture pOlish – holo star
holo star is a scattered holographic topper with holographic stars. I’ve applied one coat of holo star over a black and a silver polish. There are plenty of stars in the bottle and they are pretty easy to pick up. It was also very easy to apply the polish without getting any stars on the nail, like the middle finger.
piCture pOlish – holo berries
holo berries is a red scattered holographic jelly with holographic hex glitter that covers in two coats.
All polishes are so beautiful and I can’t really decide which one I like the most, it’s either holo night or holo berries.
Which shade do you like the most?
Thanks for reading, and happy holodays to you all!
Ho ho ho holo there! Today is Monday and that means that Christmas week is here! I went christmas shopping after work today, so now I only have a one or two gifts left to get. How is your Christmas shopping going?
For day 19 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I’ve made some Christmas sweater inspired nails again, I just think they are so cute!
For this mani I used holo berries from piCture pOlish and Alpine snow from OPI together with stamping plate Celebration BPX-L008 from Born Pretty. The pink is actually supposed to be white, it just changed color when I added the top coat. But I think they turned out pretty cute anyway.
Don’t you just love this red holo!?
Since today is Fernanda’s birthday, and I know that she loves penguins, so that’s what I made for day 15 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator.
For this mani I used winter from piCture pOlish, Alpine snow from OPI and stamping plates Enchanted 06 and 16 from MoYou London.
Happy birthday Fernanda!
For day 10 of 24 days of Christmas by Hanninator I made some ugly Christmas sweater nails (I think they’re cute rather than ugly).
The base is my favorite white polish Alpine snow by OPI. I spammed the pattern using stamping plate B003 Sweater weather from What’s up nails, glitch and o’hara from piCture pOlish.
Have a nice weekend!
