LUSH Halloween

A few weeks ago I visited Lush and picked up some bath bombs, I bought both new ones from the Halloween and Christmas collections as well as some old classics. Today I will be showing you two bath bombs from the Halloween collection.

I wish that every bath I take would be with a bath bomb from lush, but sometimes I have to go for a bubble bath too (it would be too expensive otherwise).

This little monster of a bomb is a mash-up of lime and neroli oils, and it smells lovely. It goes from white to pink and purple and blue and looks so pretty in the bath. I’m not gonna lie though, this one stains really bad. I was pink after the bath, not to mention my bath tub…

This lil’ jack-o’-lantern has a spicy, sweet perfume full of exotic pimento, sweet vanilla and warming cinnamon. This one was not as exciting as the Monster’s ball, it just left the water orange (and of course nicely scented).

*I realize that I didn’t take any pictures of them before they went in to the bath, so I borrowed pictures of them from Lush’s website.

Bath favorite

I love taking baths, but since summer just ended I haven’t been taking as many baths as I usually do during the rest of the year. One of the main reasons I love baths is because if I’m cold it’s the prefect remedy and it’s also very relaxing.

Rituals… Energy bubbles

Here’s a bath favorite of mine, Energy bubbles from Rituals, a rose scented bath foam that gives a nice bubble bath. I’ve almost used it all up and the next one for me to try is The ritual of sakura bath foam, also from Rituals. And I have a feeling that it will become a favorite, since The ritual of sakura is my favorite Rituals scent!

Empties #3

It’s that time again!? Well most of these products are travel sizes so I’m blaming it on them being so small…

Burt’s Bees – Coconut foot cream

This foot cream is really thick and moisturizing. It smells of coconut, which is really nice and a change from most foot creams since they smell of peppermint (why is that?). My feet have gotten really soft from using this, so I’m definitely gonna keep on buying it!

By Terry – Baume de rose

I have been using Baume de rose before, but not this bottle with an applicator. I actually prefer this container more, since it feels a bit more hygienic, rather than the jar. It is a bit expensive but it does wonder for your lips so I’m gonna keep on buying it. At first I was a bit sceptic to the rose scent, but I have actually started to like it.

The Body Shop – Shea body butter

Shea is one of my favorite scents from The Body Shop, I love the smell of it so much! I brought this travel size body butter with me to London and it lasts about a week.

Mineral Beauty System – Dead sea bath salt

Eucalyptus scented bath salt that leaves the water green. It smells really lovely and the minerals makes the skin feel really soft. Though I prefer bath bombs or bubble baths but once in a while it’s nice with a “simple” bath, and the smell is really nice.

The Ritual of Sakura hand wash & hand lotion

Some time ago I bought a few different hand cremes from Rituals… Imagine (now called The Ritual of Sakura) was one of them. It smells of rice milk and cherry blossoms and the scent is so so so lovely, I’m completely obsessed with it. When I saw that there was a matching hand wash I just had to get it too!

I have now used both of them for a few weeks and I have to say that they are already favorites, and I will definitely purchase them again when I run out.

They both contain 300 ml and retail for 90 kr (hand wash) / 140 kr (hand lotion) which is pretty much product for the price.

Have you tried The Ritual of Sakura and do you like it as much as I do?

Barcelona shopping

I did do some shopping in Barcelona, mostly at Sephora because unfortunately I don’t live close to a Sephora store. Please start a web shop soon, or open a store in my town!

When I saw these ugly/cute sheet masks I could not not buy them. I love face masks and these were too funny not to buy. And at the counter I found a mini mask set from Peter Thomas Roth and it just slipped into my basket. I have a few masks from the brand and the Irish Mud Moor mask is my favorite, so I’m looking forward to trying out these new ones! The mini size is perfect when you travel too.

How cute is the Panda hand cream from Tony Moly!? It was maybe a bit expensive because it doesn’t contain that much, but it’s so fricking cute so it’s ok. At the airport I got a new hand cream from Essie, I love the smell and feel of it. Read more about it here.

I have been wanting this Chocolate bar palette since it was released, and now I finally bought it (I almost bought it last time in London, so it was about time). And than I found this box with mini sized products from Too Faced. I’m looking forward to trying them out, especially the Better than sex mascara.

At Sephora I bought the Kat Von D products. I’ve already tried the eyeliner a few times and I like it so far! At the airport I got a lip and check kit from Benefit, I almost got a similar kit at the airport in London one of my last times there, so it was about time I got it now (again).

At Primor I found a few OPI’s that I didn’t already have, It’s a girl, Barefoot in Barcelona and Next stop… the bikini zone.

So I have a few new beauty products to try out now! Though I must admit I’m not that excited to try them out now when it’s like 27 degrees C outside at the moment… Not that I’m complaining, but I just don’t feel like wearing a bunch of makeup then.

London shopping part 2

This weekend I was in London (again) with my boyfriend. It’s like the third time in six months… oops. We went to see The Last Shadow Puppets, but of course we had time for some shopping too. I actually found a lot of things (mostly polish), much more than I was planning on. I’m guessing you want to see what I bought!?

Of course we went to Lush to buy some more bath bombs and bubble bars! I love taking baths, so they will be used up pretty quick I think. I even got my boyfriend to pick out some stuff! The hotel room smelled like a mini Lush after our shopping there.

I found some really cheap China Glaze polishes, six full size bottles for £15 and six minis bottles for £5.

I think I went in to every Boots we passed to look for Starry starry night from Essie, but it was sold out everywhere. So when I found a mini pack with four of the polishes from the Retro revival collection (including Starry starry night) I knew I had to have it! I also found a mini pack with four of the Virgin snow winter collection polishes that I bought. They were both £10 each. I bought a duo pack with Bikini so teeny and the Gel setter top coat for £10 too. I have been wanting to try this top coat for a while, so I thought I’d give it a try now when I found it at such a good price. At the airport, right before we were going to our gate we walked by a Boots, so I went in one last time too look for Starry starry night. And I found it! Just this one bottle! They had ‘buy one, get one half price’ so I bought Haute tub from the winter collection as well. Total for these two polishes were £12, pretty ok.

I bought five OPI polishes for my mom. Polka.com, Baroque… but still shopping!, OPI with a nice Finn-ish, Primarily yellow  and Glitter off base coat. They were all £3 each.

I found most of the polishes at TK Maxx (OPI, China Glaze and Essie) and a few at Boots (Essie).

I almost forgot, but I went to Kiko where bought three polishes. 533, 261 and 271. And they were only £2,5 each.

I did not just buy polish, I found a Ciaté x Olivia Palermo Smoked out eyeliner for only £5. And I bought 2XU compression tights at Runners need. They were expensive though, but still cheaper than if I would have bought them in Sweden.

Then I got something for a friend, but she hasn’t got it yet. And I think she reads my blog so I’m not going to tell you what it is to ruin the surprise!

Ps. I also bought something that I’m planning on doing a giveaway with! I’m not gonna tell you what it is yet, but keep your eyes open on my Instagram page for a chance to win this amazing giveaway!

London shopping

This weekend my boyfriend and I went to London to see Hozier, and when you’re in London you have to go shopping! I was looking for beauty stuff and my boyfriend was looking for vinyl. This is what I came home with.

At Lush I bought Lemony flutter cuticle butter and bath bombs. Finally I have some pretty bath bombs that smell lovely! The bath bombs I have used before have been useless (they were not from Lush) so I look forward take baths with these.

From Boots I bought some things from Essie. Essie spa hand scrub and hand creme and leave no trace glitter nail polish remover. I got a sample of the glitter remover from Kicks and I really liked it, it makes it so much easier to take of glitter polishes! I haven’t found the hand creme and scrub in Sweden before so I’m looking forward to try them. Of course I had to try them at the hotel, and so far I can say that they smell really nice!

At The Body shop I bought five body butters for only £25, so now I’m set for a while.

A friend on insagram let me know I could find cheap OPI’s at TK Maxx. If I hadn’t know what I could find in the store I don’t think I would have gone in, because it didn’t look promising from the outside. It was a very messy store, but I managed to find a few goodies. A duo pack with the latest Coca Cola polishes from OPI, a mini pack with mini nail envy, rapid dry top coat and avoplex cuticle oil. And then two OPI polishes for my mum that I know (think?) she doesn’t already have. From China Glaze I got a mini 6-pack and Orange cuticle oil. The polishes were £3,99 and the sets were £9,99.
