CND Boho spirit collection

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to show you CND’s newest collection called Boho spirit. The collection consists of four vibrant creme polishes that are inspired by the desert and its nomads with burned colors, ethnic patterns and henna tattoos.

The Vinylux polishes all have a built in base coat and there is a special Vinylux Weekly Top Coat to make the manicure last for 7 days. My swatches are painted on bare nails and finished with one coat of the Weekly Top Coat.

Gypsy is a orange creme polish that covers in three coats.

Of course I did some nail art using these polishes, lets’s take a look at my designs:

For my first nail art design I used Vagabond and Gypsy to create a vertical gradient inspired by a design from the press material from this collection. I finished it off with some gold flakes and gold striping tape.

My next mani is also inspired by a design from the press material from this collection. I just couldn’t help myself, they did such a good job with the press material for this collection. I used Vagabond, GypsyUninhibited, Creme puff and Lady in black from OPI to create this design.

For my last design I used all four shades from this collection together with Spot it white and Spot it black from Dance Legend (to create the cells). I love using the Spot it polishes as they make everything look so much cooler. I really like them in combination with this collection, the result looks really fiery and awesome. To finish the design I added some gold charms to two of the nails.

What do you think of this collection? I think its perfect for summer and can’t wait to create more summery designs with it!

CND Chic Shock

Hi everyone! Today we’re gonna take a closer look at CND’s new spring collection called Chic Shock. The collection consists of four bright pastel shades that are inspired by the South Korean k-pop culture.

As you can see the bottles have gotten a makeover, I think this new design looks very luxurious and stylish!

The Vinylux polishes all have a built in base coat and there is a special Vinylux Weekly Top Coat to make the manicure last for 7 days. My swatches are painted on bare nails and finished with one coat of the Weekly Top Coat.

Gummi is a light lilac creme polish that covers in just one coat! (Though I’m wearing two in this picture)

I also did some nail art designs using these polishes.

Here I used all four shades plus a white special topper, Spot it White from Dance Legend, to create a mix between a smoosh and fluid nail art. I think they’re quite fun to make and every nail always turns out unique!

I’m glad to report that these polishes water marble, and quite well I should add. I started with a white base (CND Creme puff) to make the water marble pop and finished with a holographic top coat for some extra sparkle.

For my last design I used Gummi, Jellied and Candied to create this wave-y design. The design is actually inspired by a pedicure on the press info that I received with the polishes.

I really, really like this collection! The shades are perfect for spring and I’m really impressed with how pigmented they are for being such light shades.

CND The Nude Collection

Hey everyone! Today I have swatches of CND’s new collection called The Nude Collection. The collection consists of four creme polishes in nude tones.

Unmasked is a nude beige creme polish. I’m wearing two coats plus top coat.

At a first glance I thought my favorite from the collection would be Uncovered, but Unmasked surprised me quite a bit. This nude beige goes so well with my skin tone and I love it even more together with the copper glitter!

CND Glacial Illusion

Hello guys! Today I have swatches of CND’s new winter collection called Glacial Illusion.

IMG_3919

CND is a brand that is relatively new to me, previously I’ve only tried their cuticle oil. The Vinylux weekly polishes are, as the name suggests, ment to last on the nails for seven days. I have not been able to try how well they last yet, but it sounds like these will be perfect if your going away on vacation and don’t have time to paint your nails.

The Vinylux polishes all have a built in base coat and there is a special Vinylux Weekly Top Coat to make the polish last for 7 days. All my swatches are painted on bare nails and finished with one coat of the Weekly Top Coat.

Cashmere wrap is a nude creme polish that covers in two coats.

IMG_3927

Mystic slate is a grey creme polish that covers in two coats.

IMG_3928

Alpine plum is a pale lilac metallic polish that covers in two coats.

IMG_3929

Radiant chill is a rose gold metallic polish that covers in two coats.

IMG_3930

Winter nights is a dark blue creme polish that covers in two coats.

IMG_3931

Ice bar is a pearl polish with pink iridescent shimmer. I’m wearing three thick coats. As you can see it doesn’t build up well on it’s own, but it’s amazing as a topper.

I aslo did some quick nail art with a few of these polishes. Maybe they’re too simple to be called nail art, but it gives you an idea of how you can easily use these polishes to make your manicure a little more interesting.

IMG_3935

Here I painted one coat of Ice bar over two coats of Winter nights. See how amazing Ice bar is as a topper!? I think it will look amazing over any darker shade.

IMG_3934

Here I made a simple ruffian design using Radiant chill and Winter nights. Since the Vinylux polishes have a wide rounded brush this design is so easy to make, you don’t need any tools.
