Nicole Diary Stamping polish + cleanup brush

I was recently sent two items from Nicole Diary to test, a gold stamping polish* and an angled brush* that I intend to use for cleanup around the cuticles.

The handle of the brush is super cute with the multicolored pearls. Nicole Diary have nine different brushes to choose from, all with the same handle, so if you want you can get your brush collection to match. The brush I got is flat and angled, which makes it perfect for precise cleanup around the cuticles. It’s a brush that everybody should have!

The gold stamping polish picks up perfectly from the stamping plate and it’s super pigmented. Just look how well it covers over black!
I’m super impressed with it and can’t wait to try more of their stamping polishes.

Have you tried any products from Nicole Diary?

Sugar heart nails + video tutorial

Valentine’s Day is only three weeks away, and even though I don’t really celebrate it it’s a perfect holiday for cute nail art!

I recently received Depend’s new O2 spring collection called Retro Glam* which turned out to be perfect for this sweet sugar heart design. I used six (out of 12) shades from the collection together with UberChic Beauty’s Love & Marriage 2* stamping plate and white stamping polish from Twinkled T**.

I’ve been loving making my manis matte lately, so this design has to be mattified! Usually I have a hard time deciding between glossy or matte, but this time I like the matte version the most.
Which version do you prefer?

Check out the video tutorial for this design below!

Unicorn powder nails + video tutorial

A few days ago I sat down to paint my nails without a plan for a mani in mind. All I knew was that I was going to use my new gradient brush* that I recently received from Born Pretty Store. On my desk I had The Dream Cremes collection from Heroine NYC so I decided to make a subtle pastel gradient using Sugar Spun and Lilac it.

The gradient brush is very easy to use and this method is much less messy compared to making a gradient using a sponge.

After taking photos of the gradient I saw the Icing powder* from Twinkled T**. I received it a few weeks ago, and it’s been lying in my ‘to try’ pile on my desk since. I applied the powder over my pastel gradient and I’m very happy that it caught my eye, because the result is really amazing!

I have tried a few different unicorn powders and the Icing powder is by far the best one I’ve tried! I’m not just saying that because I got it from Twinkled T, I would’ve said the same thing if I had paid for it myself. The powder goes on so easily and smooth. Since the powder is so fine it doesn’t look grainy (as some unicorn powders does) and the result is super shiny!

Check out the nail art tutorial below!

Do you like having the video tutorial here in the post? Previously I’ve linked to the tutorial on my Instagram, but if I upload the video on YouTube I can embed it in the post. Is this something you want me to continue doing? Your feedback is much appreciated!

ÜberChic Beauty Love and Marriage 4 & Collection 23

Hello guys! Today I will be showing you ÜberChic Beauty‘s last release for 2017, Love and Marriage 4 and Collection 23.

Love & Marriage 4 is full of lovely patterns that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. The first pattern that I wanted to use is the first one on the plate. I made a pink smoosh base that I topped with some gold flakes before stamping the hearts. I would love this pattern as an negative space alternative too! Maybe something for an upcoming Love & Marriage plate?

My second design using the Love & Marriage 4 plate are these super cute love bunnies. As soon as I saw the bunny with the balloon I knew I had to use it! It reminds me of a game I had when I was a child called Match-a-balloon.

On the Collection 23-01 plate this floral image caught my eye. Actually I’m always drawn to the floral images on their plates, they’re just so gorgeous! I reverse stamped this design, but this image is also available as an negative space alternative. Since I’m in a make everything matte mood right now I give you both the matte and the glossy version of this design.

I saw this diagonal dotted pattern on the Collection 23-02 plate and thought that it would look great paired with a bright gradient and I’m very happy with the result. Did I mention I’m in to matte nails right now?

On the Collection 23-03 I found another beautiful floral image. I paired it with a sparkly gradient, and of I course I had to make it matte too.

On my Instagram page I have posted tutorials for the designs show in this post, and you can find them through these links; Smoosh hearts, Love bunnies, Pink flowers (I’ll update with the link once it’s posted), Diagonal gradient, Sparkly gradient.
